These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of companions-of-victory.com (the “Site”) and any related sign-ups for our game, Companions of Victory, operated by Visual Interactive Studios LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). Please read them carefully. By using the Site or submitting any form, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Site or submit any form. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you should review these Terms with a parent or guardian.
Signing up for the playtest is a request to be considered; it does not guarantee access. Playtest builds are works in progress and are provided “as is,” and features may change or be removed at any time.
Promotional content consent. If you tick the promotional-content checkbox on the playtest form, you grant Visual Interactive Studios LLC a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to record, use, reproduce, and display audio and video captured during the playtest — including gameplay, voice chat, and similar material — in promotional and marketing materials for Companions of Victory. If you do not wish to grant this, do not tick the box.
Applying for a volunteer role is not an offer or guarantee of a position, employment, or compensation. Submitting an application simply expresses your interest. If we move forward with you, the specific terms of any collaboration — including how any work or contributions you create are owned and used — will be agreed separately in writing before you begin.
The Site, the game Companions of Victory, and all related names, logos, artwork, and content are owned by or licensed to Visual Interactive Studios LLC and are protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from them without our written permission.
You agree not to misuse the Site, including by attempting to interfere with its normal operation, gain unauthorized access to any system or data, submit false or spam information, or use it for any unlawful purpose.
The Site links to third-party services such as Steam and various social-media platforms. We do not control these services and are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices. Your use of them is governed by their own terms.
The Site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Visual Interactive Studios LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of the Site or any sign-up, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any disputes will be handled in the courts located in Pennsylvania.
